I have been playing around with NancyFX for a while now. What is NancyFX you might ask, well to quote from the NancyFX introduction page.
Nancy is a lightweight, low-ceremony, framework for building HTTP based services on .Net and Mono. The goal of the framework is to stay out of the way as much as possible and provide a super-duper-happy-path to all interactions.
I started using it running under IIS but I wanted to move away from IIS and NancyFX has a selfhost mode. This is great and allows you to run it where ever you want, best of all you can run it under Mono on Linux.
So I now have a linux box running NancyFX in selfhost mode, and as you can see it works because you are viewing this website :)
